6/9/05 Problems with our ISP caused the internet site to not properly
       update today between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm MST However weather data
       was not lost there was just no updates to site during this time,
       Sorry for the inconvenience.

6/22/05 A Major wildfire is burning to our N.E., the Cave Creek Complex
        fire is burning in the area that appears covered in snow on our 
        logo. This fire is creating a pryocumulus cloud,(like the one 
        pictured to the left) it is sad to see this area burn. Hopefully
        the firefighters will get a uppperhand on the fire soon.

6/22/05 11:50 PM Dry Thunderstorms have been in the area for the last
        40 minutes. Only a Trace of rain has fallen making tomorrow the
        60th day in row since the last measurable rain.

6/23/05 A teaser of rain fell between 1:45am and 2:00am it amounted to
        a mere 0.02 in the first measurable rain in 59 days.

7/18/05 First Monsoon Storm of the seasons drops 0.61 inches of rain
        between 10:30 pm and 11:05 pm.

7/26/05 Strong Monsoon Storm delivered powerful winds and heavy rain
        0.99 inches of rain of which 0.55 inches fell between 6:05 pm
	and 6:20 pm

Also record breaking all time highest wind gust recorded today,
	52 mph wind gust at 6:12pm is the highest gust recorded at this
	site since records have been kept, which dates back to Jul 1997.

7/31/05 The Heat streak has ended at 42 days in a row at 100°F or more
        and we have now had 46 of the last 49 days at 100°F or more.
        
        July 2005 average of 92.8°F 3rd warmest july and month on record.
        1. July 2003 93.6°F -- 2. July 2000 92.9°F

A nice strong monsoon storm occured today with 0.88 inches of
        rain, for July the month total of 2.62 inches is the 2nd wetest
        July on record.

8/02/05 Very Strong Thunderstorms moved through the area starting at 9pm
        Storm dumps 1.59 inches by 12 Midnight pushing 2005 to 13.83 
        inches the wetest year on record!

8/03/05 A additional 0.25 Fell from 12 Midnight to about 3 am which push
        The year todate rainfall to 14.08 and for the monsoon 4.50 inches
        The second wetest Monsoon on Record!

8/17/05 Interesting Monsoon Season so far the season started faily wet at
        this weatherstation with 4.50 inches falling between 7/18 to 8/03,
        but since then it has been very dry with only 0.25 falling and no
        rain since 8/10.

9/11/05 The 2005 Monsoon Has ended at Pepper Ridge North Valley. The
        dewpoint has average has fallen below 55°F as of Sept 10th.
         
9/30/05 The final 2005 Monsoon rainfall total is 5.11 the 2nd wetest on
        record.

12/01/05 November 2005 ties the record for 0.00 inches of rain set back
         in, 1999.

12/06/05 First Freeze at Pepper Ridge Since Dec 25th, 2004.
         The low of 31.9°F breaks the  old record for the date of
         36°F in 1998

The low on 12/5 is also a new low record at 35°F 
         the old record was 39°F 2001

12/07/05 A new record low of 33.3°F breaks the record of 34°F in 1998

12/17/05 A new record low of 30.4°F breaks the record of 33.1°F in 2003
         also ties the record of freezes in a single month at 3 freezes.

A new record low maximum of 59.3°F breaks the old record
         of 63.4°F in 1998.

12/21/05 A new record high set today of 74.4°F breaks the old record
         0f 71.2°F in 2003.

12/22/05 A new record high set today of 75.5°F breaks the old record
         0f 71.6°F in 2000.

12/24/05 The records continue to fall today's high of 78.7°F breaks
         the old record of 72.8°F in 1999 the mean temp of 59.0°F
         was also a record for the date and the 4th day in a row of
         record high mean temperatures.

12/25/05 New record high set today of 75.2°F breaking the old record
         of 67.7°F in 1999
