...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR SOUTH FACING SHORES THROUGH TONIGHT...

.A moderate, long period south swell (180-190 degrees) is peaking
this afternoon at advisory levels. Surf should drop a couple of
feet by the Friday morning.

* WHAT...Surf 7 to 10 feet.

* WHERE...South facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming dangerous.

Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don't
go out.
